Dr Alexandra Simperler is working with Goldbeck Consulting as freelance consultant since March 2017. In that role she is engaged with the EMMC H2020 Project, the Oyster Project and aids clinets with a variety of services around Materials Modelling. Alexandra is engaged as EU expert and also has her own clients she aids with her expertise in scientific application software. Before that, she was with the EPSRC National Service for Computational Chemistry Software at Imperial College London where she did training and user support to engage a new generation in using mdoelling. Prior to that, Alexandra was working five years with Accelrys (now Biovia) and was responsible for the delivery of training of Materials Studio worldwide. Her career in the UK started in 1999 after she was awarded a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Vienna. She held postdoctoral positions at the Royal Institution of Great Britain and the University of Cambridge.
