Location
EuroNanoForum 2019 takes place at the Palace of the Parliament in Bucharest at 2-4 Izvor street, C1 entrance. For more information about the location and how to reach the venue you may consult the venue website which provides all the necessary details.
Please note that from the entrance gate you will need to walk 3-5 minutes in order to reach the entrance of the venue.
BADGES
Instructions to collect your badge:
June 11, 2019:
- For participants arriving by PLANE, at the Henri Coanda International Airport of Bucharest, please be informed that in the baggage claim area, a dedicated Info Desk can be found, where you will find your badge.
Please present your ID in order to receive your participant badge.
You will be able to clearly recognize the info desk, as it will be marked with the Romanian Presidency logo.
- Romanian participants should collect their badges from the Ministry of Research and Innovation, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Address: Str. Mendeleev nr. 21-25, Bucharest
June 12, 2019:
If for any reason you are unable to pick your badge up from the airport info desk or Ministry of Research and Innovation, you will be able to do so at the Ibis Hotel near the Parliament Palace, between 07:00 – 12:00. Address: Str. Izvor, Nr. 82-84, sector 5, Bucharest.
After 12:30, the participants will receive the badges directly at the venue (Entrance C1 of the Palace of Parliament), starting from 9AM.
June 13 and 14, 2019:
The participants arriving at the conference on June 13 and 14 can collect their badges directly at the venue (Registration Desk Area, Entrance C1 of the Palace of Parliament), starting from 9AM, based on ID and a copy of the Accreditation acceptance e-mail from Romanian EU Council Presidency.
Important! Badges will be issued only for delegates who have successfully completed registration and received their accreditation and confirmation for the attendance. The badge is non-transferable, and delegates are requested to wear their badges visibly at all times during their presence at the venue. Please note that delegates will only be admitted to the conference room upon presentation of a valid badge.
We strongly advise all the participants to bring a copy of the Accreditation acceptance e-mail.
We also advise all the participants to avoid bringing large baggage at the Conference venue!
IMPORTANT: Please make sure that you have the conference badge on you during ENF2019, as access and security scans will be allowed only for participants with badges. There are strict access procedures, applicable for each day of the forum, so please make sure that you always keep the badge with you.
Due to the high number of participants, you are requested to arrive early at the conference venue.
Security
The Romanian Protection Service (SPP) will be in charge of security for all meetings and delegations throughout the duration of the Romanian Presidency of the Council of the European Union. At the entrance, your luggage and personal bags will have to go through X-ray machines, and you will need to walk through a metal detector scanner. This is due to the high security protocol applied to the venue kindly provided by the hosts.
Please note that for security reasons, delegates should have a valid badge during the Forum. Please report immediately the loss of a badge to the organizers.
Registration
Participants are kindly requested to register well in advance for attending EuroNanoForum 2019 in Bucharest. Please click here for online registration.
Accreditation is MANDATORY for every individual entering the Palace of the Parliament during the period of the Romanian Presidency of the Council of the European Union. Please click here for accreditation.
Please note that for accreditation you need a copy of your ID and a photo (format: *.jpg/*.jpeg, 3 Mpix minimum, 3 MB maximum).
Registration and accreditation are open until May 31th, 2019.
Accommodation
As there are many conferences in the same period, we strongly recommend that you make a hotel reservation as soon as possible. A limited number of rooms with a special rate for conference participants are available at the following hotels.
Language
The working language of the Forum is English, no interpretation will be provided.
Facilities and Services
Wi-Fi will be available at the meeting venue.
